You never know who you are going to sit down with in the Food Court at Maku'u Market. Today I met John and Patti: a couple that rode their bikes up from Seaview. Patti rides a Scott Mtn. bike with road tires and John has a really cool Surly road bike. They were very interested in my Canondale F1000 Lefty...said they had never seen anything like it. Never heard that before. They talked about some of their experiences on the road and said that they do about 100 miles per week. I thought I was doing a lot at 50 miles. We had a great time and look forward to seeing each other on the road again. J.Osprey
